Data we collect

When you use our contact form, we collect the information you enter: last name, first name, nationality, time zone, the package you are interested in, email address, phone number and the content of your message.

If you accept audience measurement, anonymised browsing data is also collected (see “Cookies, audience measurement and third-party content” below). Our hosting provider also processes the technical connection data (such as your IP address) needed to deliver the website securely.

We do not collect any other personal data through this website.

Purpose and legal basis

Your contact form data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare a proposal for our relocation, settling-in and concierge services. This processing is based on steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Audience measurement is used only to understand how the website is visited and to improve it. It is carried out only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

Technical connection data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a secure and functioning website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Recipients and service providers

Your data is accessed only by The Blue Living France. It is never sold or shared for marketing purposes. It is processed on our behalf by the following providers:

– IONOS SARL, 7 place de la Gare, BP 70109, 57201 Sarreguemines Cedex, France (website hosting)

– IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany (audience measurement)

– Formspree Inc., United States (contact form processing)

– Google (Google Workspace, business email; Google Fonts)

Transfers outside the European Union

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Such transfers are governed by the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Retention period

Data relating to prospective clients is kept for a maximum of three years after our last contact, then deleted. Audience measurement data is kept for 8 weeks, then automatically deleted.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, please write to contact@thebluelivingfrance.com. We will respond within one month.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).

Cookies, audience measurement and third-party content

This website uses a single cookie, which is strictly necessary to remember your privacy choices. No advertising cookies are used.

With your consent, we use IONOS SiteAnalytics, an audience measurement tool that works with a tracking pixel and server log files, without cookies. Your IP address is anonymised and the data is processed in Germany and the European Union. You can accept or refuse it when you first visit and change your choice at any time via the privacy settings icon at the bottom of each page.

The website displays fonts provided by Google Fonts, which involves your IP address being transmitted to Google. Our Instagram page is accessible via a simple link; no Instagram content is embedded on this site.
